If your little one (12 and under) wants to record our Verse of the Day, use the new SHINE 95.7 App to send in their recording. The verse is published right here with a sneak peak of the week ahead (below) so you can record in the evening or whenever it’s convenient.
We air the VOTD every morning at 6A, 7A, 8A & 9A, Monday-Friday.
Then, all that’s left to do is sharing their recording with your friends! We post the broadcast audio every morning on social media by 10AM so you can share your little one’s performance!

Helpful Tips from the Studio
- For younger kids, record phrases in pieces. It usually helps if mom/dad say a portion, then let them repeat it. The studio team can edit out all the helping voices and silence and piece it together to sound great! 🙂
- Be sure they speak as clearly as possible and with decent conversational volume (no whispers)
- Record in a quiet environment
- Include their first name and age if you’re comfortable with that being broadcast (“Hi this is Mikey. I’m 5 years old…”)
