Join the Shine 95.7 crew out at Kidz Dig Rigz  this Saturday from 10a-5p. Kidz Dig Rigz is a unique family-friendly event in which kids of all ages can get up close and personal with all types of big Rigz such as tractors, fire trucks, tanks and even take rides on monster trucks, drive a giant farm tractor and more! Other activities include a helicopter, face painting, food vendors and more.  the Shine team will be out at the kids zone playing music all day!

Kidz Dig Rigz is a unique family-friendly event in which kids of all ages can get up close and personal with all types of Rigz such as tractors, fire trucks, tanks and more! Child-friendly entertainment will include monster truck rides, tractor ride-and-drives, car crusher in action presentation, bouncy houses, face-painting and much more. A variety of food concession vendors will be present and visits can be expected from many local favorite mascots and Super Heroes!

All proceeds benefit Pediatric patients, their families, services and programs at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. Here are just some examples of what event proceeds have funded:

  • Two transcutaneous monitoring systems in the NICU to provide real time oxygen monitoring for fragile preemies
  • Milk warmers, bendy bumpers, Mamaroos and Freddy Frogs to make the hospital experience more comfortable for newborns and their parents
  • A pageant to highlight what sparkles and shines for children with special needs
  • Holiday parties for children undergoing IV therapy and chemotherapy at Kadlec
  • Movie tickets, toys and giveaways for children hospitalized during the holidays, on their birthdays, or during challenging procedures
  • Countless hotel rooms, gas vouchers, phone cards and basic necessities for indigent families of pediatric patients

This event is made possible with major sponsor support coming from local companies and corporations and volunteered time from local fire, police, military and countless community leaders and volunteers!
